(Año 1950-1951) En el año 1950 Juan Legido viaja a Ciudad México “La Ciudad De Los Palacios” contratado con “Los Churumbeles De España” para debutar en el prestigioso Salón Versalles del Hotel del Prado.
Él siempre recordaba con satisfacción aquella gran presentación en “Salón Verasalles” junto a sus compañeros ‘Los Churumbeles”; consolidando así su carrera artística, donde debutó interpretando el pasodoble que lleva por titulo “El Beso” que grabó poco después para el sello discográfico RCA Víctor, convirtiéndose en uno de los grandes éxitos de su amplio repertorio, junto a “El Gitano Señorón”, “Cariño Verdad” y “No Te Puedo Querer” por nombrar algunos.
Dentro de los cuales también encontramos el solemne pasodoble que lleva por titulo “México Que Lindo México” canción inédita que fue compuesta en Cuba, por los maestros Mario Burrul y Ricardo Mallebrera, cofundadores del grupo, canción que mi padre interpretaba con mucho cariño para México.
Con gran recibimiento y extensa propaganda recorre toda la república mexicana presentándose en radio, televisión, teatros, centros nocturnos y fiestas privadas entre otros.
Fue un éxito extraordinario, participando en varias películas del cine mexicano donde intervino con actores y actrices conocidos de la época como el maestro Pedro Vargas, German "Tin Tan" Valdez y Manuel "El Loco" Valdez, mencionando algunos de una gran lista de estrellas.
Saboreó y disfrutó la dicha de hacer de México su país de residencia, celebrando nuevas amistades que él siempre apreció y admiró.
Entre los sucesos, triunfos y experiencias que atesoró, destacaba la amistad que le brindó el Lic. Miguel Alemán Velasco junto a su familia. Gratos recuerdos y anécdotas que él mismo con sus palabras sembró en mi corazón.
Tengo el honor de compartir las palabras escritas en una carta dedicada por el Licenciado Miguel Alemán Velasco.
La carta da inició diciendo, “Juan Legido, conocido como “El Gitano Señorón””. También menciona su lugar de nacimiento e integración a la famosa banda “Los Churumbeles De España”

“Yo tuve el gusto de conocerlo en su debut que fue todo un éxito en el Salón Versalles del Hotel Del Prado situado frente a la Alameda Central de nuestra ciudad capital. Había esa noche un público muy especial; era una noche de brillo de estrellas; grandes actores de cine como Jorge Negrete, Gloria Marín, Maria Félix, mujeres muy bellas, escritores, periodistas, políticos reconocidos, mucha juventud y mucho entusiasmo”

“Habíamos conocido un grupo vocal anteriormente; un grupo estupendo también español, que se llamaba “Los Bocheros”, pero no había comparación alguna en las voces de los anteriores que fueron estupendas;” Sin embargo había una gran expectación por conocer y escuchar a “Los Churumbeles de España”.

Allí también encontramos a muchos amigos, toreros, cantantes, músicos destacados, en fin repito, una noche muy especial y brillante; dueños de salones de música como “El Patio” de Don Pancho Aguirre, “Carcho Peralta” del Capri, restaurantes y salones como los de Don Cesar Balsa y muchos amigos de la comunidad española, pero nos llamó mucho la atención en su presentación, el acompañamiento de instrumentos musicales de la calidad y de la musicalidad del conjunto;

Llamó mucho la atención su vestimenta: traje corto blanco, sin sombrero, con vivos rojos y Juan Legido con traje corto y sombrero negro; camisa de encaje sin corbata y rápidamente su actuación fue un éxito.

“Recuerdo que el contrato del Salón Versalles fue extendido por varios años y justo esa noche los invité a un privado para felicitarlos y conocerlos mejor”.
El ingenio y el humor de Legido; sus improvisaciones, sus frases y pensamientos me impactaron muchísimo; siempre expresivo hizo que naciera fácilmente una nueva amistad.”
El muy estimado Licenciado Alemán también me comenta en su carta haber conocido la dedicación y voluntad del Sr. Pepe Fernández, violinista y director del grupo; brevemente dice como se formó el grupo hasta convertirse en “Los Churumbeles de España”; señalando el suceso cuando mi padre se integra al grupo musical, cuya voz conquistó al gran público de México e Hispano América, triunfando en el corazón de todos aquellos que escuchaban las canciones de su repertorio y cierra con una dedicatoria que tengo el gusto de compartir al final del relato biográfico.
(Year 1952-1953) Residiendo en México, Juan Legido recibe propuesta de renovar contrato con el sello disquero RCA VICTOR y el acompañamiento musical del maestro mexicano Gonzalo Cervera y el maestro español Miguel Ángel Serralde.
Añade diferentes temas del cancionero español a su repertorio de grabaciones, los cuales habían sido previamente grabados e interpretados por otros cantantes en España a quienes mi padre también admiró, pero por su estupenda voz, estilo y el extraordinario aplauso del público que lo seguia, la disquera lo proponía, además para el significaba mucho interpretar melodías que representaban la cultura de su tierra española especialmente “pasodobles” genero que llevó consigo a todas sus presentaciones.
(Year 1950-1951) On the year 1950 Juan Legido travels to Mexico City "La Ciudad De Los Palacios" which means "The Palace City" hired together with "Los Churumbeles De España" to debut at the prestigious Salon Versailles of Hotel del Prado.
He always remembered with satisfaction that great presentation on "Salon Verasalles" with his fellow friends Los Churumbeles"; consolidating his artistic career, were he made his debut interpreting the pasodoble named: "El Beso" which means "The Kiss" which he recorded shortly after for RCA Victor record label, becoming one of the biggest hits of his extensive repertoire, along with "El Gitano Señorón", "Cariño Verdad" and "No Te Puedo Querer" to name a few.
Among we also find the solemn pasodoble named: "Mexico Lindo Mexico" unreleased song that was composed in Cuba, by maestros Mario Burrul and Ricardo Mallebrera, co-founders of the group, song my father sang with love for Mexico .
With a great welcome and extensive propaganda he travels throughout the mexican republic appearing on radio, television, theaters, nightclubs, private parties and more.
It was an extraordinary success, participating in several films of the Mexican cinema where he intervine with known actors and actresses of that time like maestro Pedro Vargas, German "Tin Tan" and Manuel "El Loco" Valdez, mentioning just a few of a great list of stars.
Savored and enjoyed the privilege of making Mexico his home country, celebrating new friendships that he always appreciated and admired.
Among the events, triumphs and experiences he treasured, he highlighted the friendship Lic.Miguel Alemán Velasco together with his family extended to him. Heartwarming memories and anecdotes which he planted in my heart wih his words.

"I had the pleasure of meeting him on his debut which was a success at the Salon Versalles of Hotel del Prado located accross the Central Alameda of our capital city. The audience that night was very special, it was a night of brightning stars, great actors film as Jorge Negrete, Gloria Marin, Maria Felix, very beautiful women, writers, journalists, politicians recognized, many youth and enthusiasm

Their dress called much our attention: white short dress, no hat, with red and Juan Legido short suit and black hat, lace shirt with no tie and his performance was quickly a successful.

"I remember the contract at Salon Versalles was extended for several years and just that night I invited them to a private room to congratulate them and know them better."The wit and humor of Legido, his improvisations, his sentences and thoughts impacted me much; always expressive made a new friendship to be born easily.
"Most appreciated Licenciado Alemán also said in his letter he knew the dedication and willingness of Mr. Pepe Fernandez, violinist and director of the group, briefly tells how the group was formed to become "Los Churumbeles de España", pointing to the event when my father integrated to the musical group whose voice conquered the great audience of Mexico and Hispanic America, triumphing in the hearts of all those who listened to the songs of his repertoire, and closes with a dedication that I have the pleasure of sharing at the end of the biographical narrative.
(Year 1952-1953) Residing in Mexico, Juan Legido receives a proposal to renew contract with RCA Victor Record Label and the musical accompaniment of the mexican maestro Gonzalo Cervera and spaniard maestro Miguel Ángel Serralde.
He adds different themes from the spaniard song book to his repertoire of recordings, which had been previously recorded and performed by other singers in Spain to which my father also admired, but for his great voice, style and the extraordinary applause of the audience that follow him, the record label proposed it, besides to interpret melodies hat represent the culture of his Spanish land, it meant alot for him especially "pasodobles" genre that he brought to all his presentations.
